On July 19, 2007, Valco and Premier received LEAN Certification by VATPDC of Old Dominion University and on July 24th Frank Jemmison was recognized as the programs first Certified Lean Practioner! LEAN is part of a vendor improvement initiative developed by ODU in support NG Newport News and the U.S. Navy.
